When asked why Danny named this song Tamara on KDNN 98.5 Radio Station in Hawaii plugging his new Cd. Danny stated that "he didn't name it after anyone in particular, but Tamara was his favorite Polynesian name". Very similar to when he named "There’ll Be No One" Mahealani  after his daughters middle name.
