I first heard this lively song sung by Danny when he sang at the Princess
Kaiulani, only then did I realize it was a song listened to by my parents when I
was growing up and one I was very familiar with. Truly a classic with a lively
beat, the smooth vocals of Danny Couch add a rhythm of romance to this song.
Bing Crosby Harry Lillis Crosby was born in
Tacoma, Washington on May 3, 1903, popularized singing with conversational ease,
or crooning. Crosby is also credited as being the major inspiration for most of
the male singers that followed him, including the likes of Frank Sinatra, Perry
Como and Dean Martin. Tony Bennett molded popular music. Crosby was the first
person to receive the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. Crosby's biggest
musical hit was his recording of Irving Berlin's "White Christmas", which he
introduced through a 1941 Christmas-season radio broadcast and the movie Holiday
Inn. Bing is a member of that exclusive club of the biggest record sellers that
include Frank Sinatra, Johnny Mathis, Elvis Presley and The Beatles.
