Although Danny is no longer performing at The Kona "Origins" Luau his plans for doing his own show in Honolulu is becoming a reality beginning April 4.

Stay tuned for more information on that coming.   He is looking forward to working this venue . This page on Kona remains up for those who care to know some of his history of performances. ~ Mahalo

Danny performed at the Origins luau! At Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa, the luau, "Origins,"  a celebration of traditions on the island that was the birthplace and home of King Kamehameha the great ali'i (chief/royalty) who is credited with uniting all the Hawaiian Islands. The name Keauhou literally means “the new era,” where settlement was controlled to meet the wishes of the Ali’i.

 NEW LUAU SHOW DEBUTED AT THE SHERATON KEAUHOU BAY RESORT & SPA (opened December 23rd '04.) "Keauhou" which means a new beginning is further symbolized in the Luau's name "Origins".

     Host for the evening was the legendary island entertainer Danny Couch,  the Na Hoku Hano Hano award-winning recording artist has been wowing audiences for decades. His recording, "These Islands," was used during the 1998 Miss Universe pageant and has become Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureauıs theme song in televised advertising campaigns. Couchıs silky yet powerful vocals added unexpected dimension to the eveningıs dramatic musical scores and had everyone begging for more at eveningıs end. The evening culminated with a grand finale performance on stage to match the spectacular setting.
