What shines brighter than the stars in the heavens? The Hoku Awards. More than 1,100 Hawaiian music fans and members of the local music industry attended the Hilton Hawaiian Village Coral Ballroom ceremony, formerly held at the Sheridan Waikiki. The Hoku Awards for 2004 were held May 24th and unfortunately did not include The Red Carpet. Danny and his CD "Then and Now" were nominated for Best Male Vocalist and Contemporary Album of the Year.  Unfortunately the statuette remained illusive this year, but this CD remains a winner, a Star (Hoku) in our hearts, minds and CD players.
