Danny opened my eyes and ears to beautiful music, Hawaiian style. His voice never fades and it seems to become stronger and truer every time I have the opportunity to hear him sing, there's no doubt that Danny is Hawaii's Favorite Singer with his angelic tenor voice, and perfect pitch. After purchasing his Cd's they have become fixed items in my players, and I am always asked.. "Who is that singing?" I'm very happy to be able to give them a card and invite them to this site to become familiar with this beautiful voice. I do so not to promote or sell anything, I do it to provide a chance for them to see and hear this talented man. Something I wasn't able to achieve when first I heard him, and craved to know more.

   I am still asked "what singers does Danny sound most like, or who would I compare him to?" I can only say that although Danny does perform some compositions from other well-known artists, (he sings everything from sultry love songs, to rheumatic salsa and even opera) this does not mean he "sounds like" or "emulates" any of them! He has been compared to other famous artists, but Danny's diversity enables him to sing and perform certain selections that he loves, and with his gift of an ear for perfection, makes them his with his touch of perfection. This is accomplished without categorizing him or comparing him to others. He has his own sound, his own delivery with his own talent and range. To say he sounds like anyone else is to do an injustice to his talent. He literally is able to sing anything and do an outstanding job, from opera to rock! This artist continues to please with his incredible vocal range and perfect pitch as well as his individuality. It's a thrill to see his audience's reaction to his music, and for me to continue to be pleasantly surprised each and every time he takes the stage. Every performance is unique, whether it's the first time you've seen him in action or the one-hundredth. He touches each one in his audience, he is not just a singer he's an Entertainer

Danny obviously loves Entertaining and that he does... as he states..

Why the peculiar name.. Fanaddicts?

To devote or give oneself habitually or compulsively. One who is devoted, dutiful, faithful, devout.

When you are called a “Fan” you realize for the first time that you possess these traits. Therefore I went a step further and adorned the term a bit; I affectionately named this site and those who frequent it..

The calling to develop this website was more than I could resist when the idea perked, seven years ago. The answer is "No" I've never done a website before. But with all the interest I saw in Danny, and the fact that there had not been a Fan Related site online prior to this one, and his last Fan Club was twenty years ago. I chose to develop this site, and present it to Danny with my goal on my sleeve,  and I'm honored to say it is

The Original Fan Site and Fan Club and that both have been very successful.

As Fanaddicts we have continued to monopolize the Server Broadband and our number of visitors is staggering. Actually beyond anything I ever imagined, I'm pleased and proud to say, ~Mahalo.

Danny has "Fans" all over the world, I'm proud the majority are calling this site home and by your constant feedback; I see you enjoy the information provided. People are finding out about Danny Couch, that was my ultimate goal and was/is my reason for starting and continuing this site for his fans and friends.
I developed this site as a tribute to my favorite performer/singer. Although working long distance,  I enjoy researching, buying, receiving and posting items/photos/memorabilia on the site which are original and pertinent to Danny's career, both from "Then~ and ~Now". Thanks to this site I've been fortunate to have become friends with many very special people who support and aid me in my quest. Those numbers continue to grow.  With their help I attempt to bring the most interesting, and most current approved information possible to you, Danny's fans without being invasive, and in an entertaining and professional manner.

Our pages are unique for a reason, to keep your attention and to entertain the web surfer. We have built our Lyrics Library from scratch, listening to songs directly from Danny's Cd's, records and tapes. Many of these painstakingly acquired just for this reason, with Ideas and Photos done for each lyric. Several of these were used in Danny's Cd linernotes I'm happy to say. I have several copies of Danny's first Albums/45's/tapes/first releases/posters which were produced in limited numbers and are no longer available as well as collectable photos. Some donated by DaMan himself, and some I've contributed to his private collection. This has continued to be a hobby as well as research, and a joy to attain. I personally ask that none of my research material be used on other websites for this reason. All items have been researched by me, shared with fans for educational value, are covered in my copyrite. I thank you for understanding the work that has been devoted to bring you this website.

My goal remains the same today as it was at the time it was conceived, to be as accurate as possible, be non obtrusive, and have information which is okay to feature and yet respect Danny's and his familie's privacy.

I have had the privilege of meeting Danny and I have seen him perform many times in Hawaii. It has been, and continues to be an incredible reward for me. Little did I know at the time of launch that I would be honored with having helped Danny debut his brand new Cds online, now having been asked to also debut his latest, the FIFTH release successfully debuted and now featured. "Danny Couch Sings The Great American Classics" can now be heard, seen and supported. For me, It was an overwhelming joy to be witness to Danny receiving his Hoku Award for Best Contemporary Album of the Year, and to again attend the Hoku Awards in '03, '04 and '05. A deep hurt touched my soul when I was unable to attend the Hoku's in '06 (His Christmas in Hawaii CD is extra special to me) Such special opportunities are difficult to portray in the pages of this site! He's a very handsome man, inside and out. A great performer, a wonderful talent, and very personable he has a heart of gold. Someone I'm happy and very proud, to call a friend!  I'm very pleased and honored to be designing and hosting this web-site bearing his name.  I am proud to say it has been previewed personally by Danny, and he approved and continues to support it's launch.

MY MAIN GOAL: I have enjoyed Danny's music for several years now and I decided when I met him, that I want to do something in return for both him, and his fans.  I want to provide an avenue so other people can hear his music, know his face, and get acquainted with one of the best kept secrets from this neighboring and yet distant land. But most of all be able to find his music and information on his performances. All in all, be a very small part of the excitement of his incredible and outstanding artistic career.

  So where do I get my sources, my images, my sounds, and so on? A lot of time and hard work goes into this site. I do now have a large article and image library of my own thanks to Danny and others. I ask that you not borrow what I have worked so hard to collect, or post on any other website without our written permission and full credit. All Photos are Watermarked and protected with copy write.

What I post on this site is provided by research and passed by Danny for verification and authenticity prior to launching. Danny provided written permission to use his name, photos, videos, music, information, updates and interviews.

I'm proud to say, I do not use other sources to gain information.

Although supportive, Danny does not inject his own ideas, comments or opinions to this site at any time. 

MY INTENT: I intend to maintain it's truthfulness and integrity as well as protect Danny's personal privacy at all times. Foremost and most important.. This website does not divulge information that he chooses not be made public. We continually encourage accurate and timely information from those of you who feel like you can provide this. Please send an email if you would like to share something with us. Positive comments, words of encouragement, update information, error reports, etc... These are all things we would like to hear from you. Together we have and can develop "our" site to it's fullest.
We never divulge/post information before Danny is aware of it.
