This Hoku trip included a Bowling Day with Danny. Danny took time out of his very busy schedule to spend some time with his fans and friends the day prior to the Na Hoku Hanohano Awards, and just hang loose. A fun time was spent by all, except maybe for those actually bowling against Danny! In addition to his music, as mentioned before Danny Couch is extremely gifted athletically. Bowling has been one of those passions that unfortunately he hasn't been able to enjoy much lately (15 years) due to lack of time. But earlier he had been on a league for quite a long time, and one of his bowling partners is a Fanaddict. On this day Danny proved that he was the master of the lanes... bowling a 244 in his first game (see score card on slideshow and next page), and close to that score the second. Even if you didn't bowl it was quite an exhibit to witness his strike after strike and an occasional spare.

As in all he does he does it very well.

The music selected for this slideshow came from my having heard Danny perform "Hit Me Baby, One More Time" at a New Year's Eve Performance at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel a few years ago, and for some reason became an EarWorm at the alley, couldn't get it out of my head with every Strike and Spare made, I'd utter those words.
