My intentions for this site originated by the fact that my love for music in general was affected by a handsome stranger who took the microphone one Christmas Eve at a Karaoke Night at the Hale Koa. He picked up the microphone, pushed the music aside, and sang (acappella) the most beautiful and moving rendition of "Oh Holy Night" I had ever heard! To this day I am still moved each time I hear it. When hearing another artist sing it, my thoughts go to how much more beautiful it is when Danny sings it! Going to Hawaii during the Holidays is not complete without hearing Danny sing this song at least once! A voice had never moved me like that before, nor has it had the impact of this musical introduction.
Who is this singer with that powerful voice? I had never appreciated, or really listened to the music of the islands until I heard and met Danny. Thus the beginning of a special friendship, of this Fan Appreciation Site and my continuous love for this man's voice and god given talent.
Also listen to Christmas Day Promise, Danny's Christmas CD is now Award Winning, having earned the Hoku Award for Best Christmas CD of the Year 2006. This CD would make anyone a wonderful gift.
